Paperwork!

So we found out today that we will not be able to close on our Oklahoma house in time to have items moved from the Texas house. This weekend our plan is now to move as much as possible into a storage unit (yet again, I had to do this last time we moved but had more notice) until we are able to obtain access to the Farm House. This is not the ideal plan but it's a quick solution.

You may be asking why we are unable to close on the Oklahoma house as we had a closing date set already? This all boils down to dreaded paperwork. The appraisal that is part of the purchasing process was ordered and apparently completed but had a small problem with it. That small problem has caused over a week delay in closing at least. This problem is that the appraisal (which we still havened seen yet) is submitted with the name of Blankenship and not McKinney! Blankenship is our relator, so all the information on the paperwork is in her name and how convenient that the appraiser is not responding to any communications today and Monday is a Holiday!

Needless to say the stress level in the McKinney household just went up a bit but it is nothing that cannot be handled just a delay.
